The Society of High Constables of Edinburgh
Reproduction of an etching of the Moderator's gold medal from Marwick: The History of the High Constables of Edinburgh 1865. It is described therein as: "A Gold Medal with a massive gold link chain, purchased by the Society in 1863. The medal is oval with two richly chased wreaths of Scotch Thistles. On one side are the Edinburgh City Arms, with supporters, crest and motto finely chased; and on the reverse side is an inscription."
